Jon Riekkola is a Registered Nurse with 15 years of clinical experience and born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. As a nurse, Jon witnessed firsthand what happens when elderly patients go home without proper safety equipment and monitoring — preventable falls, medication errors, delayed emergency responses, and the devastating health crises that follow. He saw these outcomes not only in his patients, but in members of his own family.
That experience led Jon to earn his CAPS certification (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist) — the gold standard credential for professionals who design and modify homes for aging and accessibility. Combined with his clinical nursing background, Jon brings a uniquely powerful perspective to every home he enters: the eye of a contractor and the knowledge of a healthcare professional.
